Sometimes we could forget that T5B means “Tournoi des 5 Ballons”, which means 5 Balls Tournament. We don’t. Even though there’s more to it now, we still cherish the Tournament part, making sure the spirit stays the same over the years. And we’re proud of the result - each year, 75 teams come to Cergy and fight to bring the trophy back home.
The Tournament is organized from scratch by a team of student volunteers. We benefit from the support of several friendly sponsors, who help us make sure that everything will go as it is supposed to and that the athletes have an unforgettable week.
Some of them started coming a long time ago and know the tournament better than ourselves, others are newcomers discovering ESSEC and the T5B; but all players are united by their passion of sports and their will to compete with the best university teams from Europe and the World.
The intensity is always there, and in the finals you can witness the game the way it is meant to be played with its dramatic suspens and excitement. Year in, year out, we are amazed by what you can feel watching or playing football, rugby, handball, volleyball or basketball.
